Siguiendo el recorrido del mercado…me encuentro con una señora clasificando pimientos de Padrón…estaría seleccionando los picantes de los otros??…no me atreví a preguntar…ni a comprar…por si acaso.
Following the walk across the market…I found and old lady classifying Padron Pepper…famous as when cooked, some are hot and some are not…and it’s quite difficult to find which ones are…maybe this lady was separating the hot ones?….I didn’t ask…or buy…just in case.

En los mercados siempre se pueden encontrar cosas y personas interesantes, en Santiago de Compostela me encontré con este hombre sacando los guisantes de las vainas….Con lo fácil que es sacarlos de la lata!!!
In the markets you can always find interesting things and people, in Santiago de Compostela I just found this man pulling out the peas out of their pods….Tins are so easy to open!!!

El Museo do Pobo Galego es un referente en Santiago, además de la Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Bonaval, donde están enterrados los Gallegos Ilustres (Rosalía de Castro, por ejemplo…) el museo tiene una colección interesante de artefactos y fotografías que dan una buena imagen de cómo se vivía y la evolución seguida. Todo un referente para los amantes de la antropología. La triple escalera es algo también interesante de ver….
The Museo do Pobo Galego is a reference in Santiago, in addition to the Church of Santo Domingo de Bonaval, where some distinguished Galician are buried (Rosalía de Castro, as example…) the museum has an interesting artifact collection and pictures that provide a good view about how the life was before as well as the evolution followed. It’s a reference if you love anthropology. The triple stairs is also interesting to see…

Alrededor de la Catedral se puede ver una gran cantidad de gente, peregrinos que llegan, turistas curiosos, funcionarios municipales, gente de paso por allí, y puestos ambulantes…
Around the Cathedral it can be seen a lot of people, pilgrims arriving, curious tourists, local public employees, people on their way, and street sellers…

Tras la caminata de más de 120km por Galicia, pasar un día en Santiago es una justa recompensa. Fijarse en la gente, las calles, la luz… aunque la cámara que he llevado en este viaje no saca las fotos excepcionales pero, la mejor cámara es la que uno siempre lleva, así que….aquí hay otro robado de esos que me gustan….
After a long walk of more than 120km through Galicia, to spend one day in Santiago is a fair reward. Watching the people, the streets, the light…the camera that I took with my for this trip doesn’t make awesome pictures but, the best camera is the one that you carry on, so…here there is another candid picture that I love…
Monte do Gozo…
El Monte do Gozo es el último paso antes de llegar a Santiago, tanto si el camino ha sido un camino largo o corto, se ha hecho andando o en bicicleta, este es un punto especial para cualquier peregrino, que indica ya que el final del camino está próximo….
Monte do Gozo is the last step before Santiago, either if the way has been long or short, was done walking o cycling, this is an special point for all the pilgrims as it advises that the end of the way is close….
